I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars, as there are not many options for people that are hungry, but then I decided to only review based on the coffee. The coffee was good and adequately priced (1.85$). The barista spoke perfect English. There are books in Khmer if you want to read. The vibe of the coffee shop is sort of industrial.

I really enjoyed visiting the Battambang Museum. The museum is clean, peaceful, and full of interesting history about Khmer culture, ancient artifacts, and local traditions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the displays were easy to understand. It is a great place to learn more about the history of Battambang and Cambodia. An amazing day tour I had a wonderful day tour in Battamgbong province, it was the most charming province located. Particularly I went to museum, there are many Khmer artifacts in the art gallery during Pre-Angkorian and Angkorian.

A very small museum with some very nice (and others not so much) artifacts from the province. The museum has all information in English. We enjoyed a good 30-45 minutes here.

This museum contains the remnants from archeological sites in both historic and prehistoric periods especially the Haobinhien culture. The place is small yet well organized in term of exhibition. What I like is the reproduction statue of Houbinhien society people together with tools.

Entry fee is US 3 per pax for foreigners No further donation is required. This is a really small non-airconditioned museum. Sadly to say, it is not as professionally done up as like Siem Reap Angkor Museum. The artifacts are mainly statue remains. Got a little sensitive to the nose since the smell in a non aircon place.

From the moment I walked in I was warmly greeted, shown to the back to dine in a beautiful green garden area with beautiful tables and comfortable seats. Given a menu where everything looked and sounded delicious! I ended up going with a local green curry with chicken, a fresh juice blend called Revitalize, and a side of kimchi. All three were absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be going back here 😋🙏🏼💛✨

The food is incredible! We ate here twice in one day as the food was so delicious. Highly recommend the veggie burger and the dirty farmer salad. So fresh! Felt nice to have some delicious healthy food. Also, the waiting staff are so lovely and attentive. The atmosphere is great also. Couldn’t recommend enough. Best food ever !!!

The Fringe is an amazing cafe in the center of town, offering so much more than their already delicious and healthy food. I participated in their new Kitchen Tales tour, an immersive experience bringing you to see a new side of Battambang, learn the stories of local street-food vendors, and taste special family recipes. Truly a thoughtful and well-crafted way to show Battambang town through a unique lens of food x people. The Fringe also offers sporty activities like yoga sessions or runs/walks around the park! Definitely recommend the yoga lessons (only $3) that focus on stretching and balance, before a refreshing meal or juice at the Fringe.

Delightful cafe and chill out space in the heart of Battambang! Visited on our first afternoon for food, and sat in the lovely outdoor space, but there is also seating available inside. Ordered the Nom pang special, and my partner had the stir fried eggplant. The Nom Pang was delicious, and tofu cooked expertly, with loads of filling and tasty sauces. The stir fried eggplant was also really good, although a little on the spicy side for my partner. Finished with their sweet treats in the form of flavoured sweet bites which were all lovely. We spent a good few hours here utilizing the wifi and if you had freetime in the area, they also have a range of books and board games available for use. Good value and wonderful service from the staff throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend!

My partner and I came here and had a couples massage and facial package. The service was fantastic, super relaxing. The facial was lovely and left our skin feeling so smooth, I have sensitive skin but had no issues with the products used. We were also able to shower afterwards which was perfect as we were getting an overnight bus after. The package was $35 which we thought was great value. Highly recommend!

my experience here was absolutely lovely! my female masseuse was very professional and the language barrier was not a problem. they have a very nice shower to use before/after. everything is flawlessly clean, relaxing and comfortable. i will definitely return. i chose the “retreat” package - a facial, body scrub and massage.

Massage was OK, asked the the Deep Relief Massage but was not very deep. I had to ask for more pressure. Room clean, but only a curtain, no door. It had a shower, you get tea and fruit before, and juice after. Snacks in the waiting area (probably more for the bike tour people). Make an appointment.

The best massage I’ve ever had in Asia. Who knows? We got 90 mins oil massage. The girls did a awesome job. Thank you so much! Must try ❤️❤️❤️ Right next door is also a nice lunch coffee spot.

It's a great place to enjoy contemporary Cambodian art. This is the artspace of four resident artists. It includes a permanent exhibition with artworks of those four artists and a temporary exhibition of local artists. The artspace is the first and only museum of modern art in Cambodia. Some artworks are for sale. Upstairs is a lovely cafe with delicious healthy food and drinks.

Cafe: food and drinks are really good, have a good variety of everything, even you can try some fusions of flavours! Service is professional and super kind! If you spend at least 8 usd at the cafeteria, you can have a free access to the museum. Museum: Really nice and the receptionist guy will tell you everything that you need to know and also he is managing the lights between the rooms. The artworks are mostly paintings and wooden sculptures and definitely a worth to visit! Normal entrance fee: 5 usd

This place is just perfect. I use to live in Battambang for more than a year and now that I am back in my home town Barcelona I really mis this place. It is quiet, full of art and plants, made with very good taste. There is aircon so you can relax from the hot weather, the waiters are super nice and the atmosphere helps you to relax or work as I use to do. The coffee is excellent. As a foreigner leaving in Battambang I truly recommend this place.

What an amazing space which combines an art gallery featuring local artists + coffee shop on the top floor (with a great view of a Buddhist pagoda temple). This spot was THE hidden gem in Battambang and definitely one of the highlights of my trip (much better than the central market for example). Their coffee latte was excellent (they serve non dairy milks) + the art exhibition was a great way to understand their tragic history through modern art. I highly recommend you go!! Also with the $5 entrance fee, your really do support a local non profit community which has done this amazing work!

This art gallery and cafe has contemporary Cambodian artists on display in their permanent collection and a small exhibition of works for sale. A small well curated gift shop has books, prints, and scarves. Cafe is a lovely rooftop and garden space. Unfortunately no photos are allowed of the exhibited works.

Really lovely little place. I came here twice during my trip, once for western food when I was very hungover and craving a sandwich and once for local food and both were great. The French bread/baguette here with tuna is really good and crispy which seems to be hard to find in Cambodia. The noodles with beef and fried egg were really filling and had lots of fresh vegetables. Very comfy, lovely service and nice and quiet to relax a bit.

good dishes with nice ingredients. i got bruschetta it was perfect and i got the lasagne. it came with side salad and few pieces of garlic bread. nicely packaged to go, see photos. lasagne flavor was pretty good and the cheese was very fragrant and overpowering for me i wouldn't get it again. next time i will try something pesto or ម្ហូបខ្មែរ instead. they have a very wellstocked bar for anyone wanting to drink more than just beer.

Having looked for places with good reviews we decided on this place. With a menu of both Western and Khmer dishes, there was a lot of choice. We tried the fried eggplant with pork and rice and, on the recommendation of a gentleman at the bar, also ordered the lasagna. We were glad we did because it was excellent. Very flavourful with quality ingredients and nicely cooked pasta sheets. The fried eggplant was delicious too. Prices were reasonable, staff were friendly, and all round satisfying experience and we may well return. NB: We did return and had the pasta aglio e olio and the beef chopsteak and fries. The pasta was absolutely delicious, cooked al dente and so flavourful for such a simple dish. The chopsteak was similar to the hamburger steak you get in Japan. Essentially two bunless burgers, with a sauce served on top. It was also good. I've been so impressed with the Italian dishe

I had really great time here. Met a lot of locals and some people from Europa. Owner is cool guy and he has really good friends. Food was delicious.

Good restaurant serving both Cambodian and Western food. Ice cold beers and good French wine available by the glass. Coffee and tea also. Manger is Cambodian but speaks good English and a little French. I’ve been here a few times over a number of years when I visit Battambang. Nice atmosphere, background music and very clean tables and toilet facilities. Good free WiFi. Breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is made fresh which is what I enjoy. Single people like me, couples or large groups all seem to go there, but i guess best to warn them before if you have a very large group.

One of the best places to eat in Battambang! The food was absolutely delicious. They didn't have draft beer when I visited in early April, even though other reviews mentioned it. However, everything else was so good that I had the house wine instead—it was only $2 per glass during happy hour!

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, with a great selection of international dishes such as gazpacho and Spanish omelette, both full of authentic flavor and perfectly prepared. We also loved the local cuisine, especially the beef loklak, which was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh, well presented, and full of taste. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy both international and local flavors in one place.

Really nice place in Battambang. Right in the heart of the place in a lovely street. Downstairs a nice shop, upstairs a café and restaurant. Cappuccino was nice but not excellent. Spicy Cambodia chicken for lunch was just great. Lovely staff, good prices too.

Had a delicious traditional noodle meal at this little restaurant in the French quarter of Battambang. Food all freshly prepared and cooked. Wonderful attentive staff. Well worth visiting. Took advantage of happy hour for a couple of beers and a house wine. Cost also included 2 main courses and deserts.

Don't miss this family run restaurant. Quality, authentic home style Khmer food that is far above the street style noodles and fried rice. Most meals are around $5 and good sized portions. Try the fish amok and the local Khmer pork curry. Fantastic. Have a chat with the friendly owner while you are there. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area.

Wandered into the restaurant just looking for some food and overheard a conversation between the owner and a family about the local cuisine and how most people do not understand or are not willing to learn. Within 2 minutes if this conversation we were sold on the cooking class, it did not disappoint. The trip to the market was very insightful and questions were encouraged. Everything was so simple to make yet care went into every single bit. The food tasted amazing and full recipes and tips were provided for home cooking. Highly highly recommend. Was very accommodating to vegetarian and vegan diets. A truly educational experience.

Fabulous authentic food cooked.to.oefee and personal spice levels. Great for vegetarians and vegans. Wish we could have fitted in a cooking class but ran out of time. We ate here 2 nights in succession and both times were very impressed. Great food in a restaurant one road back from the main riverside road. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

I can’t recommend this cooking class highly enough! The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. Vannak picks you up, and together you decide which dishes you’ll prepare. Then you visit the local market to shop for all the fresh ingredients before heading to his home to cook the delicious food with his family around. I had a fantastic time cooking and getting to know him. Vannak is an amazing chef and a great host. It was truly an unforgettable experience!🙏🏻✨
