The hotel is beautifully designed, combining elegant Khmer architecture with a peaceful tropical atmosphere. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with everything you needed.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh local and international dishes.
The location is also excellent—quiet and relaxing while still being conveniently close to the city center and the magnificent Angkor temples.
I highly recommend Chateau La Résidence d’Angkor to anyone visiting Siem Reap and look forward to returning again in the future!
A wonderful stay from start to finish. The hotel is in a strategic location with easy access to all the major places of interest. The apartment styled accommodations are spacious and comfortable, fully equipped with a washing machine, and a kitchenette.
What truly made the experience special were the people. Every tour was seamlessly arranged. Zero language barrier, no awkward misunderstandings, every tour efficiently arranged where you make informed decisions of how you want to best spend your day.
A heartfelt thank you to our guide, Sothea (whose knowledge of Cambodian history, from the 9th century up till present is second to none) our driver, David So Phal (who is your go-to worldly fixer whose experience, judgment, and network can untangle almost any situation), and the hotel’s tuk tuk driver, Souy Phal (for his tireless patience and quiet charm). Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel safe, comfortable, and completely at home. They don’t just do their jobs - they make your trip memorable.

Parking is convenient and free on the fenced and guarded property, which adds an extra level of comfort and security. The pool is large, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The rooms are exceptionally spacious. We stayed in what felt like a full apartment, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, and a separate kitchen. It was ideal for comfort and privacy.
The breakfast is delicious with a great selection, and the staff are attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Overall, an outstanding place to stay that we would highly recommend.
We stayed at Chateau d'Angkor La Residence twice during our trip, and honestly it felt like such a good choice both times.
The 2-bedroom apartment is really big, around 138 m2 , super comfortable, and decorated in a very Cambodian style, which we loved it felt authentic and not overly hotel-like. But what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and always smiling. It made a big difference, especially when travelling with a child.The location is also great close enough to everything in Siem Reap, but still quiet. The first time we stayed, we didn’t even have a scooter and could walk around easily. The second time, we rented one once we knew our way around, which made things even easier. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back without hesitation.
We've enjoyed our stay here. The 2 bedroom is huge and we got a great rate on Agoda. Comfy beds, wifi works well. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of fresh fruit and eggs made to order. Location is fantastic - walkable to everything. We went in the pool everyday. Staff are helpful and it is super safe. I'd stay here again.
