Good to know
Rooms are fan-cooled rather than air-conditioned, and many have no windows, drawing daylight only through the open gap above the walls; these rooms are ventilated with an extractor fan and a large fan. Room walls do not extend all the way to the ceiling, so sound carries between rooms on the same floor. Showers may be cold. Private room rates can sometimes be negotiated depending on the season. Some guests have reported the guesthouse closed while the restaurant continued to operate, so it is worth confirming availability before arrival.
It was so underwhelming, the price did not match the dish that was served. A simple pork rice would cost you 2.5$ and it wasn’t even that good, it totally didn’t deserve that price point. They will overcharge you even if I’m a Cambodian so idk how will that pan out if you’re a foreigner.
Clean and cheap with good location. Very inexpensive food available too.
Has nice rooftop that is cool in the heat of the day. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Most rooms have no windows though. They are very well ventilated with extractor and big fan. We slept well.
Very basic accommodation, rooms do not have walls going all the way to the ceiling so you can hear everything going on on the floor. Some of the rooms do not have windows and would get little natural light (only from the open top of the walls). Each bed comes with a large locker.
Bathroom is also very basic (my shower was cold but I didn't mind).
The terrace is nice and has a great view, that's about it.
It can get very noisy from a neighbouring loudspeaker which will make sure you can neither relax on the rooftop nor sleep properly.
The guesthouse is closed.
But the restaurant is amazing. I ordered Kuy Teav and Coffee with condense milk. The taste was amazing.
The owner, she has her own coffee farm and cook the coffee beans herself. The taste is authentic and she makes everything from scratch. Appreciate her hard work.
Highly recommend.
Good food and not expensive, rooms with fan for every budget 2beds dorm for 5usd private rooms for 8usd (or less with some negotiation, depending on season). Really nice rooftop with comfortable seats and nice view! Owner speaks English.
