Finally, the resort owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful. They go out of their way to support their guests, often providing special discounts and ensuring everyone feels truly cared for.
I do not recommend this hotel at all. While the rooms are clean, the service is poor and the owner’s behavior is disrespectful toward guests. They were extremely strict and made my entire team feel very uncomfortable.
For example, they turned off the lights while we were still eating and partying, and they even removed our plates, tables, and chairs while ten of us were still sitting there. The owner showed no concern for our feelings and was completely unprofessional.
I would like to ask: Is it standard practice in Koh Rong to turn off the lights at 11:00 PM? Do all hotels in the area prevent guests from relaxing by the beach in the evening?"

No. There is no island-wide regulation that forces hotels to turn off their lights at 11:00 PM. If a hotel does this, it is due to their own specific policy—often to save on electricity costs if they are running on a private generator—or poor management.
Do all hotels forbid guests from chilling at the beach?
No. In fact, most of the appeal of Koh Rong is the ability to enjoy the beach at night. While most hotels have "quiet hours" to ensure all guests can sleep, they should not be clearing furniture out from under paying guests or acting in a hostile manner.

The staff are nice and helpful. They even have golf carts picking us up at the Koh Toch pier. The room is clean and comfortable. It’s also convenient since they have restaurant and it tastes good. If you prefer places full of people and restaurants, I recommend to Koh Toch and here. You can access the sea view too.
