Read the other reviews! The owners are known in the area for their aggressive behaviour, both towards other colleagues in the area and guests. At first they present themselves as friendly, but don’t be fooled! And above all, do not book any treks with them. The husband harasses women, especially those travelling alone. This is terrible and dangerous, because you’re in the middle of the jungle with no one around to help. He drinks a lot of alcohol and often argues with his wife. Girls in particular, please don’t go there.
A friend of mine was even robbed of $100, and she was the only guest at the place. She felt uncomfortable and unsafe all the time she was there
Book somewhere else if you’re going to Banlung!
Good place to relax and disappear for a short while. Had some of the best fish I've ever had here from the mekong River, and everyone was pretty chilled in general. If you're not used to cold showers (understandably Cambodia is very hot) it might be a minor issue, but everything in general was ideal 🙌🏽

A totally horrible experience at Bee Bee Chalet; read the 1-star reviews on Google Reviews and Booking.com to get an idea of what can happen. I stayed for 3 days and 3 nights, and I was the only guest there (low season). As other comments also mention, the welcome is warm at first, but then something strange happens. Luckily, I couldn’t go trekking because I’d sprained my ankle, so they didn’t insist I do it – and thank goodness, as there are loads of reviews from solo travellers saying they were harassed by the drunk owner in the middle of the jungle!! In fact, every evening he was drunk with his friends, playing music and talking loudly until late. I didn’t feel safe; one night in particular, I heard noises outside my room and I think it was him trying to get in. It was terrifying. This point is really important because harassing girls on their own in the jungle is not only morally reprehensible but also a crime, and it must be punished in some way. I repeat: at this homestay, the owner HARASSES GIRLS IN THE JUNGLE DURING PAID TREKS.
I rent a motorbike and it was pretty rubbish: the brakes didn’t work and it was generally in a bad state. They really pushed to get me to rent it; as mentioned in other reviews, you get the feeling they’re mainly interested in your money.

One of the best places to stay on our trip, and we've been almost all over Cambodia. Family atmosphere, clean rooms, good food and very helpful owners who speak good English. Our daughter had a great time playing with their kids even though they didn't speak the same language. A wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
