We spent a few days at BeachWalk Resort in Koh Rong, and we had a wonderful stay. Our beachfront bungalow was perfect: spacious, comfortable, clean, and just a few steps from the sea. The location is excellent, very close to the ferry pier, making it easy to arrive and explore the island.
The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the service was excellent throughout our stay.
Although we had quite a lot of rain during our visit, it didn't stop us from enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the beauty of the island. It was the perfect place to relax, disconnect from everyday life, and enjoy nature. We would definitely recommend BeachWalk Resort to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway in Koh Rong.
A beautiful resort right in front of the beach with white sand and only around 10 minutes from Long Set Port. Before arriving, I informed the hotel in advance and they helped carry all my luggage from the port, which was super convenient.
The location is perfect because it’s surrounded by many restaurants, hostels, hotels, and other resorts. Coffee shops and local food places are also easy to find within around a 15-minute walk. If you want to rent a motorbike, there are rental places nearby too.
They offer a very good breakfast with à la carte options, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. The only downside for me was that the room size felt a bit small.
Hotel collected luggage from the port and delivered to the hotel. Was located in a perfect location, far away from the youngsters and music, but not too far away to everything. Pretty much had the pool and beach to ourselves, food and drinks were so tasty, highly recommend the beef tacos for a snack! Staff were very helpful, rooms always cleaned and smelt lovely, removed all the sand.
Would 100% recommend staying here for peace, beauty and vibes! :)
This hotel is absolutely sensational. It's located about 10 minutes from the pier, in a quiet section of Long Set Beach. It is removed from the busy bars and almost feels like you're on a private beach. The staff are so friendly and incredibly hard working. They made us feel so welcome. The hotel itself is stunning. The restaurant and bar is really well designed, as is the pool. There are plenty of sun loungers next to the pool and on the beach that are specifically for guests of the hotel. The rooms are a good size with a huge bed, large bathroom and plenty of storage space. The Aircon is very strong, plus the room has a fridge. Outside the room there is even a little water pot to wash your feet free from sand. The hotel has a restaurant with an extensive menu. We really enjoyed our breakfasts here. You can have eggs, pancakes, rice etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It's remarkable and we will be back!
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times a year since 2024 and have recommended it to many friends over time. Even during this trip, while staying elsewhere, I chose to return for breakfast and to spend time at the beach out of loyalty and appreciation for the experiences I’ve had here. I genuinely believe in supporting businesses that deliver great service.
In the past, the hotel has been welcoming to outside guests, allowing use of facilities with a food and beverage minimum — a policy that made sense and felt aligned with hospitality standards.
However, during this visit, our experience was quite disappointing. We were told that beach beds were reserved strictly for hotel guests, which is understandable during high season or full occupancy. But at the time, the beach was nearly empty, with more than half of the beds unoccupied.
We offered to pay for the beds and planned to order food and drinks, yet were still denied. Despite being willing customers, we were asked multiple times to leave the property altogether. This felt unnecessary and, frankly, surprising.
Having spent over 10 years in the hospitality industry in New York City, I understand the importance of balancing policy with guest experience. There are moments to enforce restrictions, and there are moments to create value — both for the business and the team. This felt like a missed opportunity on both fronts.
We ultimately chose to spend our time and money at a nearby resort, where we were welcomed warmly.
