Good to know
Rooms do not have air conditioning, only fans. Rooms lack in-room sinks and shelves for storage. Stairs to private rooms can be slippery when wet. Check-in and check-out times may involve waiting; confirm directly at +855 12 988 358.
I absolutely love this place. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on "Rooms" is because there's no A/C but I did know that when booking. The fan provided does the job and the people (Adam is the man) and the view? Fogetaboutit. It's spectacular. Great spot but know that walking up the hill after a night out is a worthy endeavor. Stop by Dragonfly on the way to rehydrate. love this place and M.pai.
I had no problem with the facilities themselves like rooms and toilets. But, how the Hostel regulates the guests' behaviors is needed to change. This had been my worst experience staying at a hostel so far. There was a or were some groups of Cambodian guests who made noises to disturb other guests' sleep. I could not sleep because of them. I am not sure if this happens frequently, or it just happened occasionally. If this was a common problem, I think the Hostel should have a stricter rules on night disturbance. Perhaps, this was the first and the last for me to stay here. I am sure that other guests who stayed at the same night as me might have the same experience. I hope you should take this matter seriously for future improvement.
I hope your business grow better.
The only good thing was the natural scenery; everything else—from the service to the management—was a total disaster.
I had a terrible stay here. I waited 2 hours to check in and breakfast wasn't served until 9 AM, wasting so much of my time. The staff were distrustful, constantly questioning me about the swimming gear, and rushed me to check out at 11 AM. To top it off, they called me a day later asking for payment that I had already settled at check-in. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
If you're the type who needs five-star service, marble floors, and room service on demand… this isn’t for you. But if you’re someone who loves life, values real human connection, and wants a place that’s about peace, adventure, and authenticity — ** The Cliff Hostel is pure magic.**
From the moment I arrived, I knew I had found something special. Tucked up on a hill overlooking Empire Bay, the views here are nothing short of breathtaking. Watching the sun set from the cliff’s edge feels like something out of a dream — the kind of moment you don’t just capture in a photo, you carry it with you for life.
The vibe is exactly what I was searching for: laid-back, fun, and full of possibilities. It’s peaceful when you need peace, social when you crave connection, and there’s always the chance of a spontaneous party if that’s your thing. But nothing ever feels forced here — it’s just good energy all around.
And the staff? **Unreal.** Honestly, they deserve their own five stars. Every single person was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. They’re easy to talk to, genuinely care about your experience, and make you feel like you’re part of a family. I’ve stayed in countless hostels around the world, and the team here ranks at the very top.
This isn’t a place for picky people who expect luxury at every turn — and that’s exactly why I love it. It’s simple. It’s real. It’s about enjoying the moment and the people around you. Basic amenities, yes — but ev
