President Battambang City Hotel is a hotel property in Battambang, Cambodia, located at Street 207, Romcheck 4 Village. It is described as one of the larger hotels in the town, with a big parking area and rooms that are generally spacious and clean. The hotel operates 24 hours a day, with front desk and cleaning staff on hand.
Rooms come with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a mini fridge, and guests can choose between a windowless room or one with a window at a different price point. Some upper floors offer a view over the surroundings. The hotel suits travellers looking for a straightforward, budget-friendly base in Battambang rather than a polished, modern stay, as the building itself is older and some areas such as hallways and the elevator show their age.
Its location sits a bit further from the downtown core, which keeps things quieter, though it also means fewer food and drink option...

Good to know
The hotel is open 24 hours. Rooms are offered in two configurations: a windowless room and a room with a window, priced differently. Rooms include air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a mini fridge, and there is a large on-site parking area.
It is ok for the price. The price and what you get is somewhat reasonable. One room I stayed in, the AC didn't work and we asked to change which was quite a work. The staff weren't that helpful and a bit rude. Fortunately, one other staff member was able to change the room for us. Just keep in mind that what you pay is what you get. I used to pay the same price in other provinces but got a more decent room.
Location is close (walkable distance) to the main places we wanted to go for Khmer New Year. The rooms were spacious but there quite a lot of bugs inside the hotel rooms and in the hallways. Decent view from the 6th floor.
Not much to say about the hotel. It was just average. The location isn't the best and the rooms were a little rustic, but clean. I think with a little remodeling, it would be much better. Outside the hotel its very dusty because the roads are not really paved on that side of town. Also there isn't really anything close by to grab a drink or a bite to eat. The staff is friendly, so that's always a plus. Good prices, so if your traveling on a budget, this might be the place for you.
The President is a pretty good hotel at a reasonable price. As of writing this review, a single room without windows is $10 and with windows is $17. In other words, it is a little more expensive than the nearby Emerald Hotel unless you choose the "no window" option. I tried both and found that there isn't much of a view anyway so I would opt for "windowless" personally.
The rooms have working AC, good WiFi, a mini fridge and there was no issue with insects. The location is a bit further away from downtown which gives it the advantage of being quieter.
The front desk and cleaning staff were especially helpful and laid back, allowing me to pay on check out and stay an hour past check out time without any added fees.
All in all, a solid option although if I had to choose between the President and the Emerald, I would probably opt for the latter if available.
Receptionist customer service is fine. However, the manager is arrogant and ignorant. When the room is hot, he even looks down on customers not knowing how to use remote control. In fact, the AC isn't working well but he doesn't admit it and makes an excuse because of weather outside is hot.
The manager is arrogant, ignorant and irresponsible, how come he still work there?
