We should’ve stayed 2 nights and left early the first morning. The location of the place is quite good, central but outside of the busy area. So, it’s quiet and chill, with some good cafes and food options nearby. And that’s about all the positive there is about this place. As someone else wrote already, it’s very run down – spider webs in every corner and dirty floors. Our room’s floor was full of hair and dust. AC not working and when we got back to our room at night, it was somehow 10 degrees warmer than outdoor and we had possibly the worst night sleep of our trip because it was simply too hot and the fan they gave us was basically just moving warm air around. The owner/man patrolling the reception was acting weird when we arrived, somehow angry or aggressive. We didn’t really understand what he wanted from us apart from the price of the room because he didn’t speak any English nor understood Khmer when we used Google Translate – it was impossible to communicate. Overall quite poor experience. This is the cheapest guesthouse you’ll find in town though.
