Hotels near The Pier by Ocean

The Pier by Ocean is a beachside café in Preah Sihanouk that serves drinks, coffee, and food with views of the ocean. The space is compact but comfortable, with air conditioning and a relaxed atmosphere suited to lingering over a drink or a meal while looking at the water.

Visitors consistently praise the friendliness of the staff and the quality of drinks, particularly the coconut water. The ocean views are a recurring highlight, and several guests mention enjoying the café as a place to unwind with friends or family. However, reviews are divided on food quality—some describe it as disappointing and not matching the appeal of menu photographs, and at least one visitor noted that staff requests (such as for condiments) were ignored. Service standards appear inconsistent between visits.

The café opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 11:00 PM daily except Sunday. It suits travellers with time to kill between transport connections, or anyone seeking a spot near the beach for drinks and socialising rather than a meal. The setting works for both casual visits and small gatherings, though those sensitive to noise or needing privacy may find the small space limiting.
