Three Star Guesthouse

Beach Bar@ Zone3 is 2.1 km south-east of Three Star Guesthouse — about 26 minutes on foot.

Beach Bar@ Zone3 is a 24-hour venue in Poipet that combines a bar with dining and recreational space. The setting includes photo-friendly areas throughout the grounds, and the venue operates a night market alongside its main bar and buffet service. Visitors arrive at a gated entrance where staff control access.

Guests consistently report fair pricing and a relaxed atmosphere suited to afternoon and evening hangouts that can stretch past midnight. Food quality and service receive positive mentions from repeat visitors. However, access has been a point of friction—several guests report being turned away at the gate by security despite wanting to enter, which has created frustration for would-be visitors. One visitor noted that kids' pricing at the Saikoku buffet could be more generous.

The bar operates around the clock every day of the week, making it accessible whenever you want to visit. Arrive with realistic expectations about door policy, as security decisions appear inconsistent or unclear. It suits groups and families looking for a casual evening out with food and drinks at moderate prices, provided gate entry goes smoothly.

TUBE COFFEE Poipet is 2.8 km south-east of Three Star Guesthouse — a short ride rather than a walk. It is the closest place to the hotel under “cafés & bakeries”.

The other place under “cafés & bakeries” within reach of Three Star Guesthouse is Phann Channrithy's Café Shop (13.7 km).

TUBE COFFEE Poipet is a local coffee shop on National Road 5 in central Poipet, set up to serve travellers passing through town and people making stops before heading to Sisophon, Siem Reap, or Battambang. The café offers standard coffee drinks—visitors consistently praise the coconut cream latte—in a cool, air-conditioned space with straightforward ordering and a large parking lot outside.

Visitors describe the staff as friendly and the drinks as good quality, with prices comparable to other Cambodian cafés rather than inflated for a border town. Several guests mention the golden hour atmosphere for an afternoon coffee break. One small note appears in reviews: the ordering system can be confusing, with order numbers that may not match the sequence in which drinks are called. There is only one washroom, which may matter if you arrive during busy periods. The place appears to be part of a wider TUBE COFFEE chain operating in Cambodia.

The café opens at 6:30 AM on weekdays through Saturday and stays open until 10 PM, making it useful as an early morning stop or afternoon break for people on the road. The large car park means you can pull in easily if you are travelling by vehicle. It suits anyone needing a reliable coffee stop in Poipet rather than a destination in itself, though several returning visitors seem to view it as a pleasant local improvement to the town's café scene.

It is open throughout the week and into late evening, making it accessible for different schedules. Because it doubles as a mart, it may feel less formal than a traditional restaurant setting.

Phann Channrithy's Café Shop is 13.7 km east of Three Star Guesthouse — a short ride rather than a walk.

The other place under “cafés & bakeries” within reach of Three Star Guesthouse is TUBE COFFEE Poipet (2.8 km).

Phann Channrithy's Café Shop is a casual daytime spot in Poipet on National Road 6. Visitors describe it as a straightforward place to stop for coffee and a break while travelling through the area. The café operates from early morning through mid-afternoon, making it accessible for those passing through town rather than a destination for evening visits.

Guests mention the coffee as a consistent draw, and the location near the road to Kondomri appears convenient for travellers in transit. Reviews are generally positive, though feedback remains limited enough that detailed accounts of the food menu or specific strengths are sparse. The café seems to serve its purpose as a functional stopping point rather than attracting visits for anything distinctive.

The place opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 5:00 PM daily, which suits early risers and daytime travellers. It works well as a quick break spot if you are passing through Poipet on the highway, but do not expect an elaborate menu or extended hours. Go when you need coffee during daylight hours on National Road 6.
