The space at Nirk Kampot Boutique is quite small, making it a bit tight if you aren’t traveling solo or as a couple. Given the limited space, the price feels relatively high for what you get.
I would only recommend this place if you are traveling alone or with just a few people. If you are traveling with a larger group, I'd suggest looking elsewhere, as the layout and size just aren't set up to comfortably accommodate groups.
The room is acceptable,But the air conditioner in the room is not cold, both in upstairs room and downstairs room. There is no receptionist for asking, from 7pm until next day morning, I found only one security guard there. We all can not sleep well because it’s too hot to stay in room. We asking for changing the room. But they said all rooms are full by booking. In fact, there were rooms available for us to switch to, but they probably didn’t have any staff or cleaners. The swimming pool is so dirty, look different 100/100 from the photo they post. In summary, staying in here made us feel like a waste of money and not comfortable.
I do not recommend this lodging to everyone.
1. Overall, the inn is in shambles.
The sink table is rickety and the bathroom and toilet locks are broken.
2. There are no amenities provided as described.
It was stated that slippers and a hair dryer were available, but they were not.
3.The service is not good.
It was explained before booking that the BBQ equipment was provided free of charge, but it was charged upon check-out.
I do not recommend to make a reservation here. We booked for two nights, however we were informed after already being on the way to Kampot that they can only honor the booking for one night. And that is despite still having plenty of availability on Agoda.
