Good to know
The property is open daily from 7 AM to 9 PM. It is family run, with animals such as cats, dogs and horses roaming the grounds.
A very beautiful place, peaceful and surrounded by nature (which sometimes means nature comes right into your room!) We were the only guests during our stay, which made the experience even more special. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel truly at home.
We had one dinner and two breakfasts: simple but enjoyable, with a lovely view that made everything more pleasant. We also joined the elephant tour recommended by the lodge: a small, locally run initiative that shows genuine care for preserving the culture and the environment of the local minority community. It added a meaningful and authentic touch to our stay.
Overall, we had a great time here. In fact, we preferred it to some of the more flashy resorts in the area, which make you wonder about the long-term impact on such beautiful surroundings.
That said, the property could definitely use a bit of refreshing and maintenance. Still, if you’re looking for a quiet, authentic experience immersed in nature, this is a place worth considering.
Really nice place, some rooms have been fully renovated, same with the pool area, it's a really beautiful and relaxing place to stay.
Staff is very accommodating, and food from the restaurant is quite decent.
They also offer elephant tours but didn't do it as we had something else booked
This place is charming if you're expectations are low.
You get an idyllic setting, surrounded by wildlife, views, and space!
The cabins are quaint and interesting with their own charm.
However.....
The place has seen better days. It is a bit grimy. Fixtures need replacing. The pool needs a fix (and a clean). The food is average and slow. It feels like nature is reclaiming Nature Lodge.
I was tempted to give this place a 3, but my kids loved the rustic nature of the place and the space to play.
The price is also cheap, so I think it was a very reasonable place to stay.
Beautiful place to stay, they are very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas, and they will help you book places to go. Food is good. A good place to relax and stay. Love seeing the horses.
This hotel is a beautifully peaceful resort, immersed in nature. Family run, with cats, dogs and horses roaming free. I particularly liked the spaced out positioning of the bungalows.
The food in the restaurant was good, and the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful.
I was in lodge A8 (two person bungalow). I was a little disappointed on arrival as my hammock was broken, the corners of the room were dirty and the floor was soft/rotten in places.
Did it spoil my relaxation, no - but does prevent me giving 5 stars for the room.
