Good to know
The hotel operates 24 hours a day, every day of the week, so front-desk services are available at any time.
the floor is dusty n dirty looking. there was an insect on our curtain and the robes n towels have yellow stains on them. not sure if they were washed properly at all. my friend's room had a cockroach infestation in the room they were given, cockroach eggs at the front door n dead cockroaches EVERYWHERE.
only good thing here is that the toilet is bigger n cleaner looking. kettle, coffee and cups r provided as well. Oh n the breakfast is yummy.

I am very frustrated to have to write this, but my experience at Chic Home was unacceptable. I cannot recommend this place due to the following reasons:
• Poor Cleanliness: It was clear that the room was not inspected before check-in. There was dust everywhere—on the bedside tables, inside the wardrobe, and even on the bathroom mirrors. It was quite unhygienic.
• Unprofessional Reception Service: The service was truly incompetent. We tried to rent a motorbike, and the staff told us to leave 1 passport and wait 30 minutes. When we returned 40 minutes later, they changed their requirements, suddenly demanding 2 passports and asking us to wait even longer. We ended up wasting an entire hour just trying to secure one bike.
The heat in Phnom Penh isn't the problem—Chic Home definitely needs to take a long, hard look at themselves.
A good hotel with friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet for cheap, and a refreshing pool.
I unfortunately believe my pillow had bed bugs as I woke up with bites all over my cheeks. Thankfully the hotel were very understanding and let us switch rooms, this room was absolutely fine and I believe they properly dealt with the situation.
Other than this issue, we really liked our stay here. We enjoyed the breakfast which had a large selection of foods, made to order eggs, healthy choices and hearty more filling options. The pool was really refreshing after a day walking around in the city heat.
The rooms were really nice, the A/C worked well, and the shower was amazing.
The lady at the desk booked our bus to Kampot for us for a fair price, which included hotel pick up. The hotel is in a good location with lots around the immediate area, and a quick Tuk tuk to the riverfront.
A good hotel, it has what you need. Very sweet staff that will help you wherever they can.
Sadly you can see that this hotel has lost its glory. I think a few years ago it was beautiful, today it’s a good hotel
During check-in, I was asked to provide proof of my legal entry into Cambodia. I presented my official immigration receipt, which clearly showed my passport details and entry date.
However, the female manager insisted on checking my personal email, which I felt was unnecessary and intrusive. More concerningly, I was told that this additional verification was applied specifically to Chinese guests.
This made me feel uncomfortable, as policies should be applied equally to all guests regardless of nationality.
To be fair, the hotel later assisted with a refund after I raised my concern, which I appreciate. However, I hope the management will review their procedures to ensure respect for guest privacy and equal treatme.
